You seem to be using an iPhone in which case this issue, due to the stupid way that Apple do things, may be relevant.

You may need to be persistent and try that many times before it works.

You will also need cash credit on your account to pay for outgoing/incoming calls and outgoing texts.

Internet/carrier data and MMS will not work even if you're on a Guido membership as you are not roaming in the EU.

Hi guys am visiting Switzerland . Says no service - have internet - thank god - but may not later . How can I send regular texts /make calls please ??

Do you have a Guido membership?

If not then nothing is going to work as EU roaming only works on Guido.

If you do have a Guido membership then this issue due to the stupid way that Apple do things might be relevant:

iPhone abroad issue

You may have to be persistent and try that many times before it works.

When you get connected and calls/texts are working, if data does not work then check your internet settings and if the APN field has changed from 48months.liffeytelecom.com then edit it to change it back to that, switch airplane mode on and then off and see if data starts working.

If it did not work then chances are you did not follow the instructions exactly as laid out.

Those instructions definitely work for enabling voicemail.

If you can't get it working then you may need to contact 48 support for more assistance.

No did not help I just kept getting message that my phone number was invalid when it rang out

Hey, got ans no it’s not that I’m blocked it’s cause the sim hasn’t been used in so long 48 have deactivated account. Thanks for that tho

Read and follow the instructions carefully as any mistake and it may not work.

Presumably what it says?
What sort of number is it?
Maybe they've blocked some or all incoming calls?
Were you ever able to call it?
