3G/4G Not working on HTC Desire 825

Hi there,

I have a HTC Desire 825 and joined 48  just a month ago. Ever since I joined, I haven't been able to get a 3G/4G connection, it's always been showing up as H or E near the signal bars, internet works fine though but would appreciate the greater speeds given by 3G/4G.

My device is setup to connect to 2G/3G/4G connections automatically as they become enabled, and I have restarted multiples times as an attempt to resolve it though to no avail so I don't think it's a device issue. I've tried inputting the APN information from Tweaker manually and that doesn't have any effect either.

Regarding location-wise, I know my location has 3G access, but to be sure I've used mobile data in multiple places and in town, it has never obtained a 3G signal. I am in Dublin, Ireland.

Any assistance regarding this would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

48 don't provide 4G.
H IS 3G (actually better than 3G).

So sounds to me like everything is working as expected and there is no problem here.

Hope this helps.

Glad it helped.
By the way, a better way to check your internet connection speed than just looking at the signal symbols (E, H, H+ etc.) is to run a speed test such as Ookla's SpeedTest:

Hope this helps.
