Do you know anybody else in your area on 48 and how they fare?
Can you try your sim in another unlocked phone to see how that goes?
You night want to contact 48 support for advice.

Hope this helps.

Probably best to contact 48 support so and see if they can explain/advise.

Any update on the 48 4G front, now that all of the 3/o2 network users have 4G, apart from 48?

Several people have asked the same question recently but as far as I know there's no change and no plan.

However to be sure you should ask 48 support directly.

If you do and get a reply then maybe you could post back here for the benefit of others?

Okay here's 48s response (fairly quick response speeds I must say):

"Hey there Oisin,

Thanks for getting back to us about this.

We don't have a license for 4G at the moment. Other networks have licenses and there's a lot of negotiations that need to happen before one of those licences is released to our network.

As soon as we have plans to supply 4G, we'll be sure to let you know.

Hope this helps!"
