I did a speed test on 3G because I'm getting Three mobile broadband installed in my house, and it said at the bottom that it was Tesco Mobile's network? Not really sure why its saying that?

How can we do this?

We've kept things simple and kept our costs down. We've no 48 shops or expensive customer care call centres. But don't panic; we're using the Three network, so you'll get the exact same coverage and quality as their customers.

48 is a virutal (MVNO - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_virtual_network_operator) network operating on the Three 3G (up to H+ - see here: https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-difference-between-3G-and-HSDPA-or-H+-appearing-on-the-phone-netwo...) network with some of their own equiment also in place.

Many devices misidentify MVNOs such as 48 and report them as, say, Tesco but it doesn't really matter.

Hope this helps.
