Re: Internet Settings

To open mobile network settings, in the app list, tap Settings Mobile network.

  1. Tap Add Internet APN.

then add in all the information given to you at the start of the thread and leave the other fields blank!

Re: Internet Settings

For future reference this might also be of use and could perhaps be added to the key post above?

Re: Internet Settings

Hello There I have windows phone 8 as well, HTC 8s But I think the settings should be the same.

Go to settings>mobile network>edit internet apn>on apn type 48months.liffeytelecom.com, leave username and password blacnk, on proxy server(URL) put 10.1.11.19 and proxy port 8080 ip type leave is as IPv4v6 and then save it, restart your phone and it should work.

All the Best.

Re: Internet Settings vodafone 858 !!

Tweakker APN configured my old Vodafone Smart 858/Huawei U8160 for me when I used it a while back.

Before that I also managed to manually configure it using one of the listed handset settings as a guide.

Hope this helps.

Did you try these already?

If you did and can't get it working then you might want to log a support request asking 48 to help you.

Based on questions and answers about BBM here and on the old forum I reckon that the chances of 48 getting BBM working are slim to none. If you absolutely need BBM then maybe 48 is not the network for you...

Hope this helps.

Re: Internet Settings

Actually 48 will probably never get it working however should you want BBM there is good news, as there will be a BBM app cominng to all devices so maybe that will mean you can use it again.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Hi M8

Thanks for you reply.

I will just answer my question here in the hope to help other SG Note2 owners.

Basically every setting is the same as above but what needs to change in order for it to work is this:

APN Type  =         default,*

this worked like a dream for me.

Done a speedtest and got following results

im in south east, Wexford.

Download   1076kbps

Upload   498kbps

I moved from meteor where average dowload was roughly half this speed.

HAPPY DAYS Smiley Happy

Thanks 48
