LG Devices - internet settings

[ Edited ]

If you're having issues getting online on your LG, first try using Tweakker - 48months.tweakker.com

If that doesn't help, check out the generic LG settings below.

If the settings are not working for you or your phone is not on the list post a reply and we'll find a solution.

How to change the settings

There might be slight differences depending on the version of Android you are using but these settings should work if your phone is on the list.

To change your phone settings:

  2. Tap Settings
  3. In the Wireless & networks section, tap More...
  4. Tap Mobile Networks
  5. Tap Access Point Names
  6. Tap the Menu key
  7. Tap New APN
  8. Fill the Edit access point section with the Internet and MMS settings that are available in the two following sections.

Re: LG Devices - internet settings

Hi, I have tried these exact settings with the nexus 5 and it doesn't work. I think the problem may be "APN Type" which was initially something I have since deleted. The problem is that you can't select an option. You have to type it in manually. Currently it is "default, supl." Any suggestions?

Re: LG Devices - internet settings

[ Edited ]

For APN Type try * or default, mms or default, mms, supl.

Maybe also try Authentication type = None.

None and default, mms, supl work for me.

Make sure that data roaming is enabled.

Why don't you just use the online configurator?

http://48months.tweakker.com/choose/LG

http://48months.tweakker.com/choose/LG/Spirit%203G%20H420f

If it doesn't work for you (it has never worked for me!) then you'll need to configure your settings manually:

http://community.48months.ie/t5/Need-Help/Internet/m-p/34493#M12560

Looks like the LG Spirit APN settings are under Settings > More > Cellular network settings > Access point names

https://apn.gishan.net/settings/991_20_sprint_apn_settings_for_lg_spirit.php

Hope this helps.
