How long do I have to wait for my SIM?

All our SIMs are delivered between 3-5 working days.  Don't count weekend days though.

Sorry that your replacement SIM hasn't arrived.

 

If it has been over 5 days since you orderd the SIM (not counting the weekend) then it's looks like it vanished into a black hole somwhere.  

 

We need to ask our technical guys to fix up your account so that we can get you back on your feet. So plesae get in touch with the care crew here http://help.48months.ie/requests/new.

 

This process can take a couple of days so in the meantime, I need you to order a new SIM here -  http://www.48months.ie/free-sim

 

There are a few things you need to remember:
- Don't select the "Lost your phone or SIM" option;
- Fill out the form and when you get the SIM, don't activate it.
- Get back to the care crew with the 19 digit number on the back of it and we'll get it linked up to your account.

 

The above is really important - we'll get you sorted when this new SIM arrives.

How do I activate my replacement SIM?

Simples!!  

 

1. Log into your online account at www.48months.ie.

2. There should be a message at the top of the page asking you to click here to activate your SIM. Or go to the 'activate a 48 SIM'  links on the top and bottom nav.

3. Put activation code <insert activation code> and submit

4. Log out from the site (VERY IMPORTANT to prevent cache issues)

5. Wait over one hour till SIM activation is completed.

6. Log into site and check everything looks ok.

 

If you get any error messages or cannot activate the SIM then give the care crew a shout here http://help.48months.ie/requests/new

 

Will my credit be on my replacement SIM?

In short yes it will.  Any credit or membership you had will transfer over when you activate your new SIM.

 

Be careful when activating your SIM.  Make sure you are logged into your account!!
