Just ordered a new SIM,old one stopped working, same applies

My old SIM suddenly stopped working therefore I ordered a new one. I've activated the SIM and installed it into my iPhone 5c correctly however it is still 'searching'. Any help ?

Were you roaming abroad recently by any chance and just returned to Ireland?

If so then this may be relevant and may explain why your old SIM seemed to be not working.

If that's not the issue then perhaps your iPhone needs reactivation on the 48 network - a process which automatically sends a UK SMS which costs 25c charged from your cash credit balance.

If you don't have any cash credit on your account then this cannot happen.

Blame Apple for the stupid way that they do things with iPhones on certain networks...
