Hi there. I have an iPhone 4S & I am not able to send emails while away from home. Can you help?

When you say "away from home" do you mean roaming abroad? If so you will need to connect to a wifi hotspot as data roaming abroad is not supported.

 

If you mean away from your home but still in Ireland then I presume that sending emails works while you are on your home wifi network but not when you are out and about on a data connection? In that case I presume you have a data package (membership or add-on) and have your internet settings configured correctly?

 

The email settings themselves are whatever your email provider specify and have nothing to do with 48 per se.

I mean either outside my house or as far away as the Maldives. It only seems to work if I'm connected to the home wifi with UPC. I travel quite a bit & even now here in Birmingham, connected to the hotels wifi, it still won't send, only receive emails. 48 provides a step by step process to try & correct that, however since there is no 'Cellular' tab to tap, it's reall useless information as I cannot go on any further with the instructions.
