3G Internet

Hey all,

I've only just joined 48 so this could just be the network still getting over to me but my 3g internet is awful! My top bar has three coverage bars then it says 48 E

It's practically non existent and I was just wondering, is it gonna sort itself out in a wee while?

Thanks

If you used the online configurator and it worked then the settings should be fine.

Do you know anybody else in the area on 48, Tesco, Lyca or O2 to see how they fare?

Can you try your SIM in another unlocked phone to see if there's any difference?

Are you on Android? If so what speeds do you get on a carrier data internet connection (not on wifi):

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.zwanoo.android.speedtest

Hope this helps.

I am not a 48 employee - if you need to contact 48 support you can do so by chat, email (support@48months.zendesk.com) or phone.

How did you configure your internet/APB settings?

What are they at the moment?

If they are wrong you may experience poor or no internet connectivity.

Where are you located?

Hope this helps.

I configured my settings like it told me to on http://48months.tweakker.com/choose

I'll try it again and see. I'm in Dundalk, Louth

My brother is on 48 so I'll check with him. 🙂

I'm on an iPhone 5.

Thanks!
