I can check my balance OK so not sure what is going on with my texts. I have no issues with coverage as I can make calls.
Im using android btw.
Ok so got it fixed. Found one other post on another forum with a similar issue online; deleting all messages from inbox that were stuck in "sending" seems to have fixed it.
Glad this is over. Thanks for the help anyway.
Can you still make calls? If not (and you still have call minutes left) then any chance you breached the fair usage limits and got barred?
You might need to get onto 48 support to get them to look into this for you:
No ive said in the OP, that I can still make calls and use 3G no problem. All my texts are just stuck on "sending". I havent sent that many texts this month, maybe 50 or so so cant imagine ive gone past the fair use policy limit.
Sorry - missed the comment about being able to make calls.
Assuming it's not some local/handset issue you should probably get onto 48 support for assistance.
If you haven't tried already try a reboot just in case...
Is the SMSC OK? Dial *#*#4636#*#* and then go to Phone information > SMSC > Refresh to see what it is on an Android phone. It should be +353894300000 (or maybe "+353894300000",145).
Did you try using you own handsets message settings menu... this happened to me too & i tried the smsc refresh to no avail... but!
When i used my message settings>message centre number>input +353894300000 it worked!!!
Hey-its worth a shot!
I'm still having this issue and its head wrecking. I've contacted support but still have no reply. Is there a number I can ring?
If none of the above advice works (did you check your SMSC etc.?) then you will have to wait for 48 support to get back to you. There is no phone number to call - all support is done online/electronically with 48.
Everytime I try to enter that in SMSC section it says "update error". My current SMSC is: "+353894300000",145
And I cant seem to change it.
I tried my sim in another phone, and it worked fine, so its my phone then.
Your SMSC is correct so there is no need to update it.
I can't understand why you cannot send text messages so...
