Does 48 now have the same signal could coverage as Three since they bought O2

I have always had quite poor wcdma coverage where I live and can't even get 3G in places where Vodafone or Meteor already have 4G and this is pretty annoying. So I was hoping now that Three have bought O2 the coverage might be better?

Judging by this I don't think that there has been any change in the network infrastructure:

I heard former O2 customers are getting 4G. Why can’t 48 customers have it?

 

Well 48 is different to O2 and Three and 4G just isn’t part of our plans – yet. It’s something we’re looking into for the future

Why does 48 claim this?
"Quality Network We're using the Three network, so you'll get the exact same great coverage and quality network as their customers."

48 are using 02 network which was taken over by 3 network. They claim that they are in the process of moving over, but they have no timeline available when this will happen.
