Entering unlock code

Hi, I'm trying to unlock my nokia 2323c but i cant find where to enter the code ? when i put in the 48 sim it says restricted but gives me no option to unlock the phone ? I also have tried entering the code as if calling with pw+ then code +1# at the end but the phone doesnt do anything.. Help please !

I found this that gives some different ways of inputting the code and the way you were doing it is correct.

Also if you have entered it 3 times (incorrectly)  it says that the phone will lock up and it will not be possible to unlock by code any more but rather by using a software.. Do you know how many times the code has been put in? 

Also try using at the end the code +7# insead of the +1#  .
