How do I know my number is being transfered?

 I just asked for my number to be transfered at 4.15 today but I didn't get any confirmation that my number was being trasnsfered also how will i know when it is complete?

 

why did it give me a 48 089 number even though i requested to keep my old one?

It might have just taken longer than expected however the hours that porting takes place are here

If it isn't ported by tomorrow afternoon I would lodge a ticket with the 48 crew

Until your number from your previous network is ported into your new sim it will stay as a 48 number hence the 089 prefix.

 

You will know you have been transferred when your old sim stops working and says it cannot pick up any service (when your old network has removed you and then 48 begin to put you onto their network)

i transferred my old number t 10pm yesterday and still no sign?
