My top up didn't update

I topped up by €20 for the Don membership on the 9/7/2014 the money came out of my bank account but it hasn't updated in my 48 account

Yes under current I can see next which says until 16 th August which makes sense now.

What does your online account say about your membership status, expiry date, allowance balances and cash credit balance?

The expire date is 16/7/14 I still have Internet and minutes left does the new membership not kick in until the 16/7 or when my balance runs out?

Your current membership expires at midnight on the 16th of July.

Your newly purchased membership has stacked and will kick in at midnight on the 16th July.

If you use up allowances on your current membership then it still lasts until 16th July and you may need add-ons to tide you over.

Regardless of what happens you current membership lasts until the 16th of July and a new membership cannot start before then.

Just to clarify - I presume that you see a stacked or "next" membership listed on your online account in addition to your current membership?

Or at least you see your expiry date as the 16th of August reflecting the fact that your current membership lasts until the 16th of July and is immediately followed by the next/stacked membership which lasts for another month?
