internet/mms nokia lumia 520

Trying desperately to configure my Nokia lumia 520 for internet and mms but it just won't work. I've tried several times with the windows 8 settings listed as well as the tweaker thing (which just gave me a set of instructions, not automatic). I'm certain that i followed both perfectly.
one thing i was wondering, it may sound stupid but should my internet and mms settings be two separate apns because the phone has them grouped as one.
really hope someone can help me with this. Didn't think it would be so difficult!
Thanks.

If the internet is working but MMS is not then your APN may not be configured correctly for MMS.

You probably need to configure the MMSC, MMS port, MMS proxy and maybe APN Type to get this working.

See the Windows phone settings here:

Hope this helps.

Do you currectly have a valid membership?

Would you be able to take a screenshot of your apn settings. Maybe one of us can spot if there is a problem.

Did you try all of the steps here?
