Hi, I'm just arrived in Croatia and it's says I have no service, while I was told I would have data and calls and texts available to me? Is this just a reception issue or is there something wrong with connecting to the network?

Do you have a Guido membership that started on/after 13th June?

If not then EU roaming will not work for you.

I am also in Croatia with no service! I have tried this but as I don't have iOS 8 it didn't work, I have version 10.2.1, is there anything I can do? Really need my phone!!

That's not iOS 8 specific and you need to be persistent to get it to work.

Blame Apple for the stupid way that they do things.

I get as far as SIM applications, click 'when abroad' and nothing happens, I've tried clicking everything else in that menu and nothing happens! Maybe it's my phone?

Did you try switching airplane mode on and then off and then trying the reconfiguration tip quickly so that it catches a local network just long enough to allow the setting to be changed?

You may have to try this many times before it works.

As I say it's due to the stupid way that Apple do things unfortunately.

Managed to get signal. In the end I just turned my phone on and off because I could never get past the 'when abroad'. I must have done it about 15 times and one time it just connected straight away so I'll leave it now! Sorted, thank you for your help!

yea, now I have signal I can make the change, not that I need to now. But thanks for your help!
