Invalid Sim

Hi I have been with 48 for a number of years. I bought an iPhone 7 last week and I am currently on holidays in Tenerife. It has been saying ‘No Service’ for the majority of the time since I got here but now it has changed to ‘Invalid Sim’ it is really important that I have a working phone for work and I am wondering if you could help me get it working for texts and call.I have bought my monthly membership recently and also have bought credit as an add on. It would be great if you could help me.

Is the phone unlocked for use on any network?
Was it working on 48 before you went abroad?
What membership do you have?
