Leaving 48

48 is a **bleep** network you have left me abroad with no way if contacting anyone or being contacted it's a disgrace and I hope you hang you head in shame if anyone using your network gets into problems all because you can't give a **bleep** about anyone using the network. You don't even have a proper customer service. So with this I'm leaving 48 but you have to release my phone number to another network. But please for my safety please release my sim.

If you want to move to another network then you just ask that network to port your number over from 48.
The is nothing for 48 to "release" with regard to the number or SIM.
If you're leaving then you will want to make sure that membership auto renewal is switched off to ensure that you don't pay for further memberships after leaving.

Hope this helps.
I am not a 48 employee - if you need to contact 48 support you can do so by chat, email (support@48months.zendesk.com) or phone.

By the way, if you had no service while abroad then the most likely reasons are

(a) you were not on a Guido membership (EU roaming only works on Guido since 13th June)

or

(b) you're using an iPhone (which seems to be the case?) and hit this issue due to the stupid way that Apple do things:

Hope this helps.
