I was abroad for a few months and so didn't renew membership in that time. I am back now and have renewed but am still without service. Is there some way I need to reactivate my phone ?

You seem to be using an iPhone?

That being the case the first thing to check is this:

 

iPhone abroad issue

 

If that doesn't work then your account may have been disabled in which case you may need to contact 48 support to get it re-enabled:
