Hi Patrick.

What make and Model of phone do you use?

If it's an iPhone, have a look at the link below:

http://community.48months.ie/t5/Need-Help/Returned-to-Ireland-phone-says-No-Service/m-p/41201#U41201

If not an iPhone, Do a power Cycle (switch off, then on, and see if Network Service resumes.

If that fails, check Your APN (Samsung lose its APN settings in this way) enter your APN again if required, power cycle, and you should be up and running again.

Either way, post back!

thanks for that. it is a samsung and i'm a bit of a ludditte so need help with APN

Reconfiguring the APN is not going to help if you are not seeing 48 in the list of networks when you scan manually.

You should switch off, take the SIM out, gently clean the contacts, reinsert it, switch on and then manually scan for and connect to 48 again.

Make sure that roaming/data roaming is enabled.

If you still don't see 48 then you'll need to contact 48 support and may need a new SIM:

Hope this helps.

Is it an iPhone by any chance?

If so then see here:

If not then I'm not really sure what the problem is.
