Whatsapp just says connecting and im unable to click the send button as it isnt highlighted
Thanks for that. I'm going to get this checked out by one of our tech team.
I'll be back in touch soon. I should have some sort of an answer for you tomorrow.
Loss of land line minutes puts me off
And so it should.
There's no point in buying the Standard membership anymore.
You get a better deal with Guido.
So upset they're getting rid of data on the €10 plan that was basically the only reason I joined!
€10 plan was the only reason I and my couple friends switched to this network, if they are reducing the landline minutes and removing data Im going to switch to another network for sure. That plan was ideal for me...
Likewise :/ the €10 plan was so handy but now at €20 a month you could get as good as or better deal some where else 👎 really like this company but i feel this is a bad decision
I think that some people are confusing the old €10 Standard membership with the €10 Guido membership.
Standard membership used to have unlimited texts and mobile calls and 60 (?) mins of landline calls but no data.
Now it's changed as explained above. Standard membership makes no real sense now as for €10 you get a better deal on the Guido membership.
Guido membership is unchanged:
Hope this helps.
People are NOT confusing the old €10 standard membership with the guido membership!!!! You are giving us much less for our money!!! The unlimited mobile to mobile calls, subject to your fair usage policy, was great - for those of us who like to talk. Now we are restricted to 300mins under the guido plan. Like others have posted, will be searching for better deal elsewhere. We already have unlimited sms mesages in the plan, so the 'great news' about whatsapp is not such a big deal, unless you want to send photos. Come on 48, stop treating us like fools!
Some people definitely WERE confusing Standard (which is changing and nor worth buying anymore) and Guido (which is not changing - other than the unlimited WhatsApp offer) if you read the snippets that I quoted.
Just to clarify - I don't work for 48.
What do you mean?
EU roaming charges are already capped for all operators.
Or are you referring to calling/texting international numbers while at home in Ireland?
This is possible once you have cash credit to cover the cost of the relevant services:
You seem to be suggesting that you cannot call or text UK numbers which is incorrect.
As long as you have the necessary cash credit you CAN do this.
I have never being able to text or call english numbers from Ireland. Only when in the Uk and I have the international roaming texts bought.
