just bought 25 roaming texts and 15 min talk roaming im in new york but its not wrk im putting area codes before it aswell so PISSED off!!!

When roaming in the USA all calls (incoming and outgoing) and outgoing texts are charged from your credit balance:

*All roaming charges are inc VAT. When making calls, the charge is in a per second increment after the first 30 seconds. Calls received are charged at a per second increment.

Don't shoot the messenger - I don't work for 48 and am just trying to explain things to you.

The purchase page makes it clear that the EU roaming add-ons are for the EU only - as the name suggests.

But I suppose somebody could buy them by text and maybe not be aware of this.

As I said you need credit to make/receive calls and send texts while roaming in North America.

If this does not suit you then perhaps 48 is not the most suitable service provider for you?
