Hi, I'm travelling to Kenya on Thursday, and was just wondering will my sim work okay out there ?
And will I still be able to text Irish mobiles for free?

48 don't seem to support roaming in Africa:

You might want to double check with 48 support that this is the case.

Even in the countries where 48 do support roaming, (incoming and/or outgoing) calls and (outgoing) texts to Irish numbers are not covered by the normal membership bundled allowances but are charged from your credit balance or from an EU calls/texts add-on as per the price list above.
