Hi there,
My Samsung galaxy S3 when turned on this morning asked me for a sim unlock code so I typed in what was on the card and it said unsuccessful any ideas?

Assuming it's the SIM PIN that it prompts for - is this of any use?

I forgot my PIN..... What now?

However any chance it's a network unlock code that it's looking for?

Presumably it was unlocked before this but was there any software update as I seem to recall reports of some (Samsung?) phones relocking themselves after a software update... e.g. see here:

Hope this helps.

Stick your SIM into another unlocked phone. If it asks for an unlock pin then you need to find the pin for the sim card. If it lets you in then you need to unlock your samsung phone again. You might still have the code your old network provided you with?
