Sim locked and PUK doesn’t work

My sim is locked and the PUK in my profile doesn’t work. I can enter it, then choose a new SIM pin, but then it fails and says I have only so many attempts left. I can’t use my phone now. Please help!

If you set a PIN then it should ask you to re-enter it to confirm it.

If you get an error then you must have entered the PIN confirmation incorrectly.
