Did you register your SIM and it all went OK?

 

Register SIM

 

Did you try manually scanning for networks and connecting to 48 (or O2 if 48 not listed)?

To Add...

Also - Ensure Data Roaming is Enabled... This is also Required to receive Signal on 48.
