Try using one of the other Xperia settings as a guide:

or just try Tweakker APN:

http://community.48months.ie/t5/Need-Help/Internet-Settings/m-p/474#M116

If you still can't get it working then log a support query to ask 48 for assistance:

Hope this helps.

thanks a mill but tried most of these and no luck. il contact 48! cheers 🙂

Fair enough. As it happens I was setting up a Vodafone Smart 3 V975 (unlocked obviously 🙂 for someone on 48 at the weekend. It runs Android Jelly Bean 4.1.1 and I tried Tweakker APN but it could not configure the settings automatically. Tweakker APN ICS Beta was not available from the Play Store for this phone (which probably makes sense since it's JB). In the end I just copied the settings from my own (ICS) phone which Tweakker had set up a while back. So I guess that Tweakker may not be the panacea that I thought it was! Oh well... 😐

I have tried all of the guidelines provided here (some of them seem to differ) many a time, but to no avail.

I have a Sony Xperia E and have been trying for months to get this working, but no use!

what is this 'Tweakker' thing you speak of? Am i liable to avail of it?

Feeling hopeless, please help me, preferably without directing me back to guidelines i have previously tried!

Hi edelcleere

Of course the Tweakker can be used in this instance... Especially as all other methods have failed for you.

Its as easy as clicking on the link below and following the step's within:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tweakker

Give it a go... and power off and on your handset after Tweakker, before trying the Internet again.

If you read the links in my previous post then you will see what Tweakker is.
